I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 Intel Core Duo processor T1050 (2mb/1.6 GHz/533MHz), 100 GB HDD 5400 rpm, 1 GB DDR2 533MHz 2 Dimm 15.4 inch TrueLife, CD / DVD, Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Works , 9-cell battery Lithium-ion battery, 2 years warranty, laser printer, a lock, flash drive, a surge protector and mouse.
It costs $ 1400
Can I get a good deal? I do not know much about computers (or computers in general). Should I have received from Microsoft Office?

Sounds like this machine. Way to go! Microsoft Works is great if you want Word-processor core, etc. The timing of the Works Suite includes Encarta, Microsoft Office is expensive and requires a learning curve to master.
